Sandhills Family Heritage Association builds its programs and services around H.O.P.E., Heritage Preservation, Outreach Education, Preservation of Land and Natural Resources, and Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. The Sandhills Farmers Market of Spring Lake, the African American Heritage Tours, and the Sandhills Sankofa Festival are the most widely known.
